This little girl, Gigi, is 4 years old and needs a bone marrow transplant. Her family needs to raise 250,000 USD for the procedure. It must be hard for her to grow up like this and for her family. "On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, IMSS de Morelos clinic 1 was admitted to the emergency room, blood and platelets were transfused and the assessment was considered serious, so on Thursday the 7th it was sent to the hospital of medical specialties of pediatrics in the XXI century medical center, on September 8, a bone marrow aspiration was performed to confirm possible Leukemia, being diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (LL2), having that result that same day the first intrathecal chemotherapy was performed. At the same time I start the chemotherapy treatment through the induction stage to the remission, consolidation and intensification, during six months as it has been shared on this page its progress and complications, during that period by medical prescription could not return to Cuernavaca, Morelos , so we have seen the need to reside and rent in Mexico City. The treatment has been exhausting physically, emotionally and economically, its duration is two years (120 weeks), we have already advanced a stretch of the road, with a lot of love and always a lot of optimism and with the support of all of you we will move forward."
